Leucillin at UKACT 2026
On the 18th & 19th July, we attended the UK Animal Care Technicians (UKACT) at Askham Bryan College in York, for the first time. We enjoyed connecting with animal care professionals and sharing how Leucillin can support everyday animal skin care across a wide range of species.
Askham Bryan is a specialist land based college with extensive animal management facilities, offering students practical experience with more than 100 different animal species. From reptiles and amphibians to exotic mammals, birds and small companion animals, the college provides an excellent environment for learning about animal care, welfare and husbandry.
Leucillin is a particularly versatile product for those working with exotic animals, making it a useful addition to animal care facilities, educational collections and specialist environments. Its topical skin care applications extend across mammals, birds and reptiles, at all life stages, offering a practical option for a diverse range of animals.
For students learning to handle and care for animals, having access to products that are straightforward to use and suitable for a wide variety of species is valuable. Leucillin is designed for topical use and can be used for the eyes and ears, making it a versatile option for animal care settings.
As an over the counter product, Leucillin can also be recommended for owners to keep at home as part of their animal first aid supplies, supporting continuity of care beyond the college or professional environment.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us at UKACT. It was a pleasure to meet people dedicated to developing their knowledge and skills in animal care and welfare.
